In researching "collective concentration" under different keywords – group meditation, group concentration, etc. – I have found a lot of interesting information, some of it useful. In my reading I have learned that single individuals who place hexes will have to pay a steep price in Karma.

A question in my mind is whether a large group practicing focused concentration with the purpose of disabling a cabal of dangerous individuals should expect a similar karmic backlash, even if the purpose served is of the highest possible good for mankind?

Do you know any particularly detailed sources treating the power of collective concentration? In fact, I know that this power is practically unlimited, but I need a tract which states this in an authoritative way, complete with examples. A tutorial laying out proper method would be helpful.

Relatively speaking, this is a new frontier, but practically unlimited in potentiality. Any interest you take in this, and/or knowledge, advice would be appreciated.

And once again, if the group effort proceeds on behalf of a truly noble end for the good of many, is there any reason to expect Karmic consequences?
Only one answer has been forthcoming. In my judgment this is an oversimplification. The type of group concentration mentioned in this reply refers to prayer. There is reason to believe that group concentration in general has great power, whether or not it is performed in a spirit of prayer. Anyone familiar with Christianity is aware of this promise – particularly active Christians.

There may be objectives which are not suitable subjects for prayer and yet are not objectionable or unseemly. I would opine that one does not ask a Patron for a favor which is unrelated that Patron’s sphere of interest. All worthwhile activities and interests cannot be classified under a heading of "religion." Is it suitable to disturb a principality over issues of no concern to him?
